Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School

WISH LIST
$100: set of bilingual books to start a child’s home library;
$500: 1 week of music and movement;
$7,000: 10 new windows – part of a much needed renovation project.

Latin American Montessori Bilingual is a unique program that empowers language minority students to maintain their mother tongue (Spanish) while they develop their skills in English, and language majority students to learn a second language while they develop knowledge of their own (English). Academic excellence is at the heart of it: students thrive in a safe environment that affirms their cultures and languages and leaves no question about their value as human beings. Making discoveries is also key, cultivating concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and a love of learning. LAMB is committed to providing a top-notch Montessori education in a multicultural, multiracial, and bilingual environment for students in grades pre-school through 2 (a new grade will be added each year until grade 6). You can support this innovative school as it seeks to develop its music, art, and sports programs, and its special education services (audiology, counseling, speech and language, physical and occupational therapy)– or, help renovate LAMB’s new home. Every parent in the school is a donor: you can be, too.
