Puppet Showplace Theatre is the only permanent theatre for puppetry in Greater Boston, and the oldest continuously operating year-round puppet theatre in New England—one of just a handful in the United States. As our regional authority on puppetry, PST is a magnet for events and activities in its field; it maintains an ever-changing roster of artists, keeps abreast of changes in the field, and presents the work of companies from around the country and the world.

The recipient of the Boston Parents' Paper's "Favorite Family Entertainer" and "Best Children's Live Theater" awards, as well as the Elliot Norton Theater Critic's Award, PST is one more outstanding small arts organization committed to excellence and community. Offering family shows, workshops, programs for college students, educators, and puppeteers, classes, summer programs, and even PuppetSLAMs—evenings of "edgy" puppet theater for established and developing artists—PST teaches and entertains audiences of all ages.
