Children's Advocacy Center of Norfolk County
The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) was established by the Norfolk County District Attorney’s
Office in 2000 to provide coordinated and sensitive response to children who experience physical, sexual,
and domestic abuse. Incorporated as a public charity in 2003, and serving 28 cities and towns, CAC’s main
program is the Sexual Abuse Intervention Network (SAIN), which minimizes the number of times a child
has to be interviewed about the abuse, while encouraging a spirit of collaboration among the team of
professionals responding to the case.
